Job Title: Copy Editor – Print (Hindi)

Location: Delhi | Type: Full-Time

Panchjanya is one of the oldest and most respected weekly Hindi magazines in India, known for its nationalist voice and fearless journalism. As we continue to uphold our legacy in the print domain, we are looking for a meticulous and passionate Copy Editor to join our editorial team.

  • Writing & editing
    • Write clear, relevant stories and photo captions.
    • Cross verify facts, statistics, names and attributions before publishing.
    • Suggest story ideas, angles or improvements based on reader trends.
    • Edit articles for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity and style.
    • Ensure adherence to the publication’s editorial style guide.
    • Eliminate factual errors, inconsistencies and redundancy.
  • Layout & and & formatting & coordination
    • Collaborate with designers/paginators to ensure copy fits the layout.
    • Flag and resolve layout related issues.
    • Review final page proofs before going to print.
  • Deadline & management
    • Deadline management
    • Work efficiently to meet tight editorial deadlines.
    • Handle last minute changes or breaking stories swiftly.
  • Collaboration & with & reporters/bureau

  • Qualifications & editing
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related fields.
    • 3–5 years of experience in editorial/copy editing in print media (Hindi).
    • Excellent command over Hindi language (grammar, syntax, style).
    • Strong attention to detail, editorial judgment, and time management

Job Title: SEO Manager l Panchjanya

Location: Delhi | Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

The SEO Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end SEO strategy and implementation across Panchjanya’s digital properties. This includes technical SEO, content optimization, AI-led search trends, performance tracking, and collaboration with editorial and technical teams to improve visibility, engagement, and reach.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Lead and execute end-to-end SEO initiatives across on-page optimization, CMS-based architecture, content planning, and technical SEO enhancements.
    • Build scalable SEO frameworks integrated with editorial workflows, metadata, internal linking, and schema markup to improve search visibility.
    • Develop and execute keyword strategies using tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner to target high-impact, intent-based keyword clusters.
    • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and third-party tracking platforms—focusing on visibility, site health, SERP ranking, crawl status, and user behavior.
    • Track and report SEO performance daily, weekly, and monthly through custom dashboards and tools like Google Trends and Analytics, ensuring timely adjustments.
    • Collaborate with tech, content, and digital marketing teams to align SEO efforts with UX, page speed optimization, and multi-platform discoverability.
    • Understand and incorporate the impact of AI on search behavior and evolving SERP features to keep strategies up-to-date.

 

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
    • 4–6 years of proven experience managing SEO for editorial, news, or content-rich platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge of technical SEO, Google’s algorithms, schema, sitemaps, and indexing principles.
    • Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, etc.).
    • Awareness of AI-driven content discovery trends and emerging technologies impacting SEO.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a data-driven mindset.
    • Fluency in Hindi and comfort with culturally sensitive editorial content is preferred.
